In the 19th century Floods and famines are natural calamities, but now days floods famines global warming calamities, which is creates problems for many nations.

Floods are generally caused by heavy rains or melting of huge masses of snow and ice on the mountain on tops. Sometimes they are caused by breaches of dams. Rivers overflow their banks. Foods water destroys standing crops; mud houses collapse and trees uprooted. People and animal swept away by swollen rivers. Floods are usually followed by epidemics, which sometimes take a heavy toll of lives. Very scanty rainfall or a complete failure of rain causes either drought or famine. The failure of crops and scarcity of drinking water cause a lot of misery.

Definition of natural disasters

Definition of natural disasters is any catastrophic event that happens through nature or natural processes of the Earth. The ability to rebuild the severity of disasters, economic losses, and the ability to rebuild incidents in unnecessary areas are measured. Therefore, the flood on the desolate island will not be considered as a disaster, but there will be flooding in the populated areas known as natural disasters.
All natural disasters cause loss in some way. Depending on the severity, lives can be lost in any number of disasters. Falling buildings or trees, freezing to death, being washed away, or heat stroke are just some of the deadly effects. Some disasters cause more loss of life than others, and population density affects the death count as well.

The natural disasters that really affect people worldwide tend to become more intense as the years go on. Frequency of earthquakes, mega storms, and heat waves has gone up considerably in the last few decades. Heavy population in areas that get hit by floods, cyclones, and hurricanes has meant that more lives are lost. In some areas, the population has gotten somewhat prepared for the eventuality of disasters and shelters are built for hurricanes and tornadoes. However, loss of property is still a problem, and predicting many natural disasters isn’t easy.

How Will Global Warming Change Earth?

The impact of increased surface temperatures is significant in itself. But global warming will have additional, far-reaching effects on the planet. Warming modifies rainfall patterns, amplifies coastal erosion, lengthens the growing season in some regions, melts ice caps and glaciers, and alters the ranges of some infectious diseases. Some of these changes are already occurring.

More importantly, perhaps, global warming is already putting pressure on ecosystems, the plants, and animals that co-exist in a particular climate zone, both on land and in the ocean. Warmer temperatures have already shifted the growing season in many parts of the globe. The growing season in parts of the Northern Hemisphere became two weeks longer in the second

Warmer temperatures also extend the growing season. This means that plants need more water to keep growing throughout the season or they will dry out, increasing the risk of failed crops and wildfires. Once the growing season ends, shorter, milder winters fail to kill dormant insects, increasing the risk of large, damaging infestations in subsequent seasons.

5 natural disasters that beg for climate action

Flooding and strong winds from an unprecedented succession of powerful hurricanes have destroyed homes and crops in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and across other several Caribbean islands in September 2017. Hurricane Irma, the strongest observed in the Atlantic since 2005 in terms of maximum sustained winds, caused widespread and catastrophic damage.
Across South Asia, 43 million people have been hit in August 2017 by heavy monsoon rains and intense flooding which in some places is the worst it has been in nearly 30 years. More than 1,200 were killed in Bangladesh, India, and Nepal. While some flooding is expected during monsoon season, this level is unusual and unheard of for most of the communities hit.

On the back of 18 months, drought caused by el niño and higher temperatures linked to climate change, the horn of Africa region is now going through a further drought, caused by a mixture of influences from la niña and the Indian ocean weather pattern. Millions of people are facing acute food and water shortages.

Hurricane Harvey was an extremely destructive Atlantic hurricane which became the first major hurricane to make landfall at such an intensity in the united states since 2005. It hit parts of Texas and Louisiana in August 2017, flooding areas with over four feet of water and displacing tens of thousands of people from their homes.

Extreme heat events are becoming hotter, lasting longer and occurring more often as the global average temperature climbs. In summer 2015, one of the deadliest heat waves in history killed more than 3,700 people in India and Pakistan. In 2017 both countries were gripped again by scorching heat, with temperatures soaring to 53.5c (128.3f) in Pakistan in May. The heat wave also hit the middle east and southern Europe, where it was named "Lucifer".

This is an important message- I want to deliver this message to every person, but I can not win individually for everybody, so I want to send this message to everyone from my blog. If you want to save the Earth, then read this message carefully and send it to others so that we can save the planet.

Today our planet is in danger, which is a major cause of global warming. Because pollution has risen throughout the earth. In which air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, there is increasing pollution everywhere that is very harmful to the Earth, thus increasing pollution is bringing the end of the Earth closer. Our beautiful earth is now losing its beauty because the trees are cut and replaced by buildings that have a direct impact on the Earth's atmosphere. The industry is spreading its waste in rivers and in the soil, which is affecting soil and water quality, so different types of diseases are increasing. If there is an environmental degradation, then there will be no remaining left on earth and the end of the earth will end. There is no doubt for the fact that man is an intelligent animal. Man is able to influence environment with his activities. The effects of man’s activities on the environment have been both positive and negative.
